Dr David Hewson
I have undergone training by Bond Solon on the duties of an expert witness completing their courses on civil law and procedure, excellence in report writing, courtroom skills and cross examination. I accept new instructions on standards of care and causation relating to my expertise as an active clinical anaesthetist.
I am a Consultant Anaesthetist at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. I graduated with Distinction from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2007 and commenced practice in anaesthesia in 2010. My major clinical interests are regional anaesthesia, trauma management, neuroanaesthesia, total intravenous anaesthesia, airway management, perioperative medicine and risk assessment.
Following academic training as a Clinical Assistant Professor and completion of my PhD, I was appointed an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the School of Medicine, University of Nottingham. I am experienced as a Co-Investigator or Principal Investigator undertaking clinical trials on medical device design, sedation and regional anaesthesia.
